I’m Lindsi: a Board Certified in Holistic Nutrition, Functional Nutrition Therapy Practitioner and lover of all things related to food! In 2014, I started my private practice to provide people with clinical nutrition care in a fun, approachable way.
Proper nutrition and a healthy relationship with food are vital to feeling your absolute best. I strive to help patients replace food anxiety with the idea that good nutrition feels easy – natural and is necessary.
Through evidence-based and goal-oriented service, I will help you identify the most realistic actions that help you reach your health and wellness goals. Every appointment is tailored to meet each person’s unique bio-individual nutritional needs and lifestyle, whether it be for those managing disease or for those who want to simply stay well.
Nutrition can seem like an overwhelming and confusing concept. There is a lot of inconsistent information out there and it can be difficult for a person to navigate effectively. I see it as my personal mission to change that perspective by guiding you to repair your relationship with food, instill confidence in your diet decisions, and allow you to celebrate food in a full way!
I will work with you to understand underlying motivations and work through any personal resistance you may have.
I will empower you to become the expert and advocate of your own health by staying informed with the most up-to-date, evidence-based information so you can trust yourself in making the healthiest decisions.
Utilizing a multidisciplinary and collaborative approach, I will work closely and communicate regularly with other physicians and practitioners on your medical team to ensure that your nutritional needs are identified and met through your care.
We will set goals together so that they feel attainable and enjoyable.
Before pursuing advanced degrees in Nutritional Sciences, my plan was to find a way to implement nutrition and lifestyle adjustments as the first line of therapy in combating physical and mental illnesses. I completed my bachelors degree in Clinical Behavioral Psychology and discovered there were multiple routes for me to take to achieve my goals outside of the ‘normal medical model’ which was in the ever advancing fields of Nutrition, Physiology and Psychology.
Although it was my initial goal to study the mental health field through the western medical model, it was a family member’s successful battle against cancer through the help of nutrition therapy combined with new and old medical model treatments and my lifelong interest in science, psychology and research that inspired me to pursue my career as a Functional Nutrition Practitioner as a way to battle serious diseases. I have always been fascinated with the incredible healing properties of food/nutrition and our bodies, and I knew I was meant to help empower others to heal and advocate for themselves in this seemingly unconventional yet very traditional way.
I absolutely love what I do. Allowing me to combine all of my passions fuels my enthusiasm and genuine love for connecting with people and empowering them along their own health journey. And allows my work to be fun and fulfilling!
In hospitals and private practices a Functional Nutrition Therapy Practitioner is regarded as the primary expert in nutritional science and a mandatory member of the interdisciplinary medical team. I founded my practice to fill that same need outside of the office setting to make nutrition services easy and accessible as part of their personal healthcare needs.
Few things bring me more joy than to see my patients and colleagues reach their goals through the work we do together. I truly hope all of my patients look forward to their visits as much as I enjoy working with them.
